Jamaica Union Live on NewsTALK 93FM

On Monday, May 14, 2012, the Jamaica Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists (JAMU) will be featured during a live outside broadcast from its headquarters in Mandeville, Jamaica, on NewsTALK 93FM.
 The feature will be broadcast on the programme “Seeing from a Different Perspective” with host Senator Floyd Morris from 12:15 –2:30 pm on 93.7 FM. Read more

Lost Sheep?

 When I was in high school, I hated going to church. Having attended Adventist church and school all my life, by the time I was a senior, I felt like waking up for Sabbath school and church was just another morning of sitting through Bible class.
 
“What can we do to draw you in?” trusted adults would ask. I never had a profound answer. I’m not jumping ship, I’d often think. And I don’t think the majority of my peers are either. Preparation is in high gear for the launch of the “That the World May Know” programme. Pastor Ted N.C. Wilson, President of the Seventh-day Adventist World Church, will arrive in the Jamaica on Friday, February 3, 2012 to be the main speaker for the Inter-American of Seventh-day Adventists (IAD) launch of this evangelistic initiative, which will be broadcast globally on Saturday, February 4, 2012. Adventists Admonished to do the Work of God Now

Adventists were admonished to “take advantage of the day to do the work of Him who has sent us, by preaching the truth with love” by Pastor Roberto Herrera, Public Affairs and Religious Liberty (PARL) Director of the Inter-American Division of Seventh-day Adventists (IAD). His charge came as he addressed Church members at a Religious Liberty Rally held at the Dover Adventist Church in St. Mary on Religious Day, Saturday, January 28, 2012. Adventist World Church President to Visit Jamaica

Ted WilsonPastor Ted N.C. Wilson, President of the Seventh-day Adventist World Church, will visit Jamaica from February 3 – 6, 2012. 
Wilson, who will be accompanied by his wife, Nancy, will be the main speaker at the launch of That the World May Know”, an initiative of the Inter-American Division of Seventh-day Adventists (IAD). Evangelism a Way of Life in North East Jamaica. The evangelistic activities of the field is concerned with training laity and clergy to work together to save the lost and keep the saved, this is pursued through annual lay workers seminars and institute, registering individuals for various bible lessons.
