North East Jamaica Conference consists of churches, schools, workers and individuals who have previously invariably held membership in, East Jamaica Conference (Portland) Central Jamaica Conference (part of St Mary), and the North Jamaica Conference.(St Mary) These individuals form the backbone of membership and leadership in one hundred and three churches and fifteen branch Sabbath Schools from a population of some one hundred and ninety persons and over twenty thousand members  which make up the  parishes of Portland and St Mary.   
 
The general leadership consists of men and women who have served in various leadership positions in the respective conferences of which they held membership. There are trained and experienced elders, lay preachers, bible instructors and colporteurs. There are seven ordained pastors, ten licentiates and three interns. There are two high schools and one preparatory school and over fifty teachers and some twenty colporteurs.

The supervisory committee consists of a cadre of individuals drawn mostly from the civil service and the teaching profession, who at one time or presently serve on the respective conference or union committees.

Since its inception on August 1, 2006, every departmental activity conducted by sister conferences have been successfully implemented in the North East Jamaica Conference, These include, various evangelistic trusts, yearly parish conventions, children conventions, women’s ministries seminars, elders’ seminars, lay preachers institutes, camp meetings, youth camps, treasurers’ workshop, family life camps and many local programmes have been executed at the request of the local churches.
